Field Service Tech

Driven Diagnostics is looking for a professional to operate the Mobile Service Unit. If you enjoy working on a multitude of vehicles from car, pickups, and heavy trucks than this is the career for you.

  •  Be well versed in all makes and models (no foreign)
  •  Be ASE certified.
  •  MAC’s 609 AC cert. or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  •  Diesel experience.
  •  Have a positive “can do” attitude.
  •  Work with management to identify and order parts to complete repair.
  •  Clean, detailed and orderly work techniques.
  •  Be a self-starter who likes to work independently.
  •  Elevated level of professionalism and integrity.
  •  Very proficient use of pc based diagnostic software from Manufacturers and aftermarket.
  •  5+ years of Automotive mechanical repair.
  •  Can drive and operate large box truck.
  •  Diverse tool set. Some “specialty” tools provided on the truck to complete the job.
  •  The Field Service Tech position will be roughly 70% out of shop and 30% in shop based. Clean
  • MVR preferred. Pay is $26 – $38/hr DOE.

Auto / Diesel Tech

  •  The Auto Diesel Tech position is shop based. Clean MVR preferred. Pay is $17 – $35/hr DOE.

Service Advisor

Driven Diagnostics is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will lead and ensure operations are efficient and profitable through productive customer retention, providing all clients with comprehensive, value-added, fair, and ethical automobile repair services while achieving individual strategic sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  •  Manage shop workflow and schedule for technicians.
  • Communicate with each customer in a fashion that leaves them feeling comfortable and informed every time.
  • Set, confirm, and prepare for appointments with customers so they can have a great service experience.
  • Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and a vehicle walk-around, inspections and test drives.
  • Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently.
  • Test drive with the client as needed to diagnose problem or refers the client to appropriate Service Technician to conduct test drive and diagnose problem.
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for all labor and parts.
  • Successfully maintains a quality control process to eliminate “comebacks.”
  • Effectively promotes “value-delivered,” rather than “discount offered,” to make a sale.
  • Problem solving and reporting research results.
  • Track maintenance or repair status, fill out reports on labor and cost of all services.
  • Perform post-service inspection with customers and answer any questions they may have.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Facilitate financial transactions.

Job Type

  • Full time
  • One location
  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:45 am to 5:30 pm
  • Average salary: $35,000 – $73,000 +/ yearly. 
  • Base salary + commission + incentives.
  • Individual pay is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, relevant education and/or training, and performance related bonuses and incentives.
